About us
A small, independent health-information project, in English, German and French, for readers in Switzerland and France.
Who runs the project
The project is run by Danilson Da Veiga Ramos. The articles are signed by an anonymous editorial team and linked, sentence by sentence, to the sources that support them. The specialists who verify them also remain anonymous; the editorial team checks their identity and their right to practise.
Why this project
The World Health Organization estimates, for example, that a large share of people with PCOS are not diagnosed (WHO fact sheet (new tab)). Reliable information exists, but it is scattered and sometimes hard to use during an appointment. We want to make it clear, traceable and practical.
How the project is funded
The information pages and the appointment kit are free. The project plans to sell more comprehensive educational guides, once they have been reviewed and approved. There is no advertising, no sponsor, no affiliate link and no funding from the pharmaceutical industry.
Our commitments
- Never present content as verified by a specialist without a real, signed verification.
- Never invent testimonials, reviews, user numbers or recommendations from doctors.
- Never present ourselves as partners of, or endorsed by, an institution we cite (WHO, HUG, CHUV, Assurance Maladie…).
- Never ask you which condition affects you.
- Correct our mistakes publicly.
About the name
“Santé en clair” is a working title: the project's final name has not been chosen yet. To write to us, see the Contact page.
